With a superb one-bedroom cottage and Jeep provided, you will become a member of the welcoming community on Alderney (guess what, they have blonde hedgehogs here and the principal owns the pub The Blond Hedgehogs!) I should mention she also has many businesses including a football club so this lady and her partner are very active.
You will be in sole charge of the 7 bed house and the cat with two visiting dogs, a Vizsla and Lab. when the family turn up, but that is on rare visits. When they occur you will be at full stretch but otherwise it’s a 5 day week with hours to suit you. Flexibility is key in this job as perhaps you will meet them at the airport, or be off with the grandchildren and the dogs, on a lovely walk along the beach, or helping to cook a simple family meal, she cooks but you help. During visits you will do what is required and not fuss about hours, you will have plenty of time for feet up moments later!
If you have a partner, then perhaps he/she could help part time for £20 an hour, that is perfectly fine, but otherwise all up to you. The present lady has written a super detailed job description so do give this one a go, it’s a lovely job with fun people.
